Policies

Prices and flat rate quotes are based on services provided at a rate of $50 per hour, Flash animation services are $75 per hour. Price includes image retouching and one major revision or redesign and 2 small revisions. Subsequent revisions are billed at the hourly rate with a one hour minimum. All approvals must be provided in writing by email or fax. Any work will not go to print unless written approval is received.

Emailed written estimates for projects (without instant online ordering) are valid for 30 days. Once a deposit is fully processed, we will reply with a production start date. Once a payment is given, either deposit or full payment and work begins, the monies are non-refundable, the contract cannot be cancelled, and the full amount will be due upon completion of the work (if applicable). If any balances are due, they are payable once work is completed, prior to being sent to print, whether it is ultimately sent or not. A file will not be sent to print nor a website made live on your server until the balance is received.

Your Role

To help us meet the deadlines of our production schedule, we ask that all clients are committed to working with us to complete projects in a timely manner, setting aside time to provide feedback as requested and begin work with us prepared with company name, phone, fax, email,mailing address, photos, written content and other essential information already in place to be incorporated into designs. Once a draft is presented, if changes, approvals or other essential information needed to complete a project are not provided after 7 days, we reserve the right to reschedule its completion to our next available production start date. There is a $25 returned charge for insufficient funds above the amount of the payment. Insufficient funds will halt production. Late balance payments will incur a 25% per month late fee.

Please note if you are selecting an item with design only, printing only or both. We can assist with these arrangements, but you are responsible for out of pocket expenses including but not limited to envelopes, postage, assembly, delivery, photography, domain registration, hosting, credit card processing & transaction fees, search engine submission.

Unless contracted for copywriting, you will be responsible for emailing all of the text used in the designs, already proofed and approved to be used “as is”. Based on our marketing and advertising experience, we will use creative license to alter or emphasize copy selections for the best outcome. Pictures must be emailed or provided on CD, or scanning charges will apply. Scanning charge depends on the amount of pictures to be scanned. If a large amount of stock photography is required, there is a minimum $75 photo search fee. Charge depends on the amount of photos to be located. Rights

All designs, with the exception of provided logos and artwork are the rights of and are the property of Seda Custom Design. As a result, all designs with the exception of standard size business cards, letterhead and envelopes, will bear a mandatory “Designed by” credit & web address. If desired, you may select its location. Designs may appear on our web sites and other marketing or advertising materials. Regarding logo designs, you have the right to copywright and trademark the designs. If you plan on using designs for merchandising, you have the option to separately buy the rights to the design.

Print Management


If you decide to have us manage your printing, even with a printer of your choice, a print management fee of at least $35 will be due for each file. This per file charge depends upon the complexity of the printed project and applies even if multiple pieces are of a similar design. This fee is for getting estimates with multiple printers for the best pricing, sending the job to print, communicating with the printer to ensure a successful outcome, approving proofs, delivery management etc. Seda Custom Design does not provide warranties or guarantees on the work of third party vendors. Once proofs are approved, Seda Custom Design is not liable for costs for additional proofs or reprinting materials.

Although our designs have proven to show a great return on investment for our clients, services are provided “as is” and provide no guarantees of sales or responses resulting from the use of the designs. By selecting "I agree" on your order form acknowledge and consent to all of the policies listed here as well as waiving any right to sue and agreeing to binding arbitration as a legal resolution for disputes.

Payment Methods

We accept Paypal, check by mail, bank deposits & wire transfers, credit cards and cash. Mailed payments may have a delayed start date as we have to receive and process the payment first. So this is not recommended for rush jobs or deadlines.

Turnaround Times


The actual design production time varies by job, but most designs can be created in one week or less. Web design, books and video production turnaround times are longer and depend upon the complexity of the job. We offer next day printing on many standard size jobs if that is needed, lower pricing if you have 2-5 business days and can immediately send items for print management if you are providing the ready-to-go artwork.

Once we receive your order, we will reply to confirm with a production start date and turnaround time, taking into account your deadline request. However, due to our production schedule (set on a first come, first served basis), we may not be able to start the same day. If your job is time sensitive, we recommend calling to ask if it can be completed in time prior to ordering.
